St Patrick’s Day Rally

Unfortunately the site owners at Monks Barn have decided their site is too wet for our rally and have cancelled us!  After lots of phone calls and a site visit yesterday Andy & Angi and Martin and Fiona have secured an alternative site at Hampton House Farm.  

August Holiday Rally

Easter Rally at Quorn - Electric Hook Ups.

A few people have seen an old news item (Easter South 2012) I have forgotten to remove from the website.  I can confirm there are NO electric hook ups at this site, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

2013 Rally Bookings

2013 Rallies are now on-line and ready to book, we will be accepting bookings from 1st January.  Don’t forget you must have renewed your membership to book a rally.

Change of Venue for 2013 Summer Holday Rally.

The Summer Holiday has now been booked at South Meadows in Belford. We still need Marshals for this rally.

Our new Equipment officer has asked us remind all Rally Marshals to make sure he is aware of any equipment moments that are arranged amongst your selves.

400th Rally Plaque Awarded

At the recent AGM our Present John Nicholls award Cliff and Sheila Taylor their 400th Rally Plaque.  Cliff and Sheila are founder members and have served many years on the clubs Committee and between them have covered about every role!

AAOCC Welcomes 4 new Committee Members

The Committee would like to Welcome Liz Everett as Rally Secretary who was elected at the 2012 AGM.  We also have 3 co-opted members.  Andy Todd. Angi Todd and Brian White.  Brian will take over as Equipment Officer and Andy and Angi will join as committee members

New Year Rally, Robin Hood Scout Camp

This rally is now full booked.  We do anticipate a few spaces becoming available so if you are interested then please speak to the marshals ASAP.

Generator Usage

Following on from some recent complaints the Committee feel the need to remind members that generators must be switched of by 11pm each night.  Not adhering to this rule is disturbing to other Ralliers but also causes problems with land owners and local residents.

With this in mind we will be instructing Rally Marshals to switch of any generators they find running after this time.
